Zade Batal’s Live2 Story

Zade’s Live2 story goes all the way back to 2021, when Zade saved Live2. There was a one week period of Live2 that is infamous in the mind of founder, McClain, where he thought he just might have to throw in the towel. Suffering from a falling out with a childhood friend who was working on live2 with him and the end of a three year long relationship (and not to mention almost no success to the company’s credit), McClain was lost and confused. The only person left who he knew in LA that still cared about Live2 was Zade (and they barely knew each other). On a whim, the two went out to dinner and got to talking. remarkably, they shared many philosophical similarities in the way that they saw the world around them. During this dinner Zade uttered a line that is later credited with saving Live2, “I didn’t join Live2 to start a business or because it had to be successful, I joined because I wanted to do dope sh*t with good people. That is what Live2 is to me.” Zade’s belief in Live2 represented hope at a time when McClain thought that all was lost. Over the next several years, Zade continued to be at the heart and soul of Live2, being referred to as a “vibe master” while also continuing to perhaps more economically practically hone in on his skills as a creative director and director. At this time, Zade occasionally directs things here and there with Live2, but his real passion has taken roots in a friend of the company Boon who has started an artist project that Zade believes is revolutionary. The future is unknown right now for those two, but the prospect is exciting. While Zade is still finding his specific place inside of the business world, Zade very much so remains at the center of the heart and soul of the movement itself.

“Zade is arguably my best friend. (Alongside my hometown friend Houston who would kill be if I didn’t add this in here too). We have been througfh so much together and see the world in remarkably similar ways, but have very different strengths when it comes to doing something about the way we see the world. Zade lives on passion, his taste is extremely highly refined, and he can express emotions and feelings that most shy away from. The world does not yet know what Zade truly has inside of him, and I think Zade is still honing in on exactly what he wants to to about that. I believe over the next several years Zade stands ready to make quite an impact in the art and entertainment world in perhaps a very very natural way. I am excited to watch what happens.”
